BIBA Scotland - Annual General Meeting - Thursday 23 January 2020

The Annual General Meeting of the Scottish Region of The British Insurance Brokers' Association is scheduled for Thursday 23rd January commencing at 10.30 at the offices of Allianz,  7th Floor, 58 Waterloo St, Glasgow G2 7DA.

The Scottish committees’ priority is to fully represent and support BIBA members across the region and we would therefore welcome suggestions for events or training for the year ahead, focusing on the issues that matter to you. Our annual conference is under review and your input would be greatly appreciated.

BIBA is a democratic, not for profit organisation run by its members entirely for their benefit and real value can be achieved in adopting the principle of ‘strength in numbers.’ With that in mind one of the AGM’s tasks is to elect Committee Members for the coming year. The Committee should consist of 12 members. At least a third of the committee places are required to come up for election each year, so there are 4 places to be filled which may consist of either a new nominee or an existing committee member who is up for re-election.

If you would like to find out more and can spare a little of your time in 2020 and beyond, then please complete the attached nomination form and either return as indicated prior to the AGM or bring it along with you on the 23rd January.  I promise you a very warm welcome.
